Does NxtQue take a commission from my earnings?
Never. NxtQue charges a flat monthly subscription. We only take a small 1% platform fee on card hold transactions processed through Stripe — and that comes from the payment processor fee, not from your service price.
Do my clients need to download an app?
No. Clients join the queue or book appointments directly from their phone browser by scanning the QR code or clicking your booking link. No app download, no account required to book.
Can I use NxtQue if I rent a booth and am not the shop owner?
Yes. Create a Solo Pro account and you get your own personal booking page, your own queue, your own client history, and your own booking link — all independently of any shop. If you join a shop later, your profile, services, and client history transfer with you.
What happens if I leave a shop? Do I lose my clients?
No. With a portable barber account, your profile, service menu, photos, and client history belong to you. If a shop owner removes you, you get a prompt to activate Solo Mode and your booking page stays live. Your clients can still find and book you.
How does the TV queue board work?
Open the TV URL on any browser — Smart TV, tablet, laptop connected to a screen, Fire Stick, anything. It displays live queue columns for each barber, who is in the chair, and who is waiting. It refreshes automatically every few seconds. Clients scan the QR code to join from their own phone.
Does NxtQue work for nail salons and spas too?
Yes. NxtQue has separate modes for barbershops, hair salons, nail salons, and spas. Each mode uses the right terminology, service suggestions, and layout for that business type.
